I have this idea that would be a great addition to this wiki. You know how the show features a title card for each ep just like Preacher and Atlanta. I was thinking about doing the same thing with Legion where we can have two images with one as a screenshot and the other as the title card for that ep. But my big problem is the image quality especially from watching online unless its on the FX site. Does it have to be in jpeg or png?
I was talking with MutantLivesMatter about adding Gallery and Soundtrack Notices to the Season 1 and Season 2 pages and they told me to run it by you for input and suggestions. I thought a good way to link the Season pages to the Gallery and soundtrack pages would be to add a notice at the top of each page like the character pages have. I've made the approprate templates and I've put them on Season 1 and Season 2 as a test run. Do you think we should change anything for them?
Also I found it hard to read the Gallery link to the character gallery pages. I found, when creating the other notices, that if you remove the "<sp an style="color:#25236c;">" and "</sp an>" (minus the space between "sp" and "an" ) it makes the link to the gallery page the normal color of a link which I found easier to read. What do you think of this change? Should this change be applied to the Character Gallery notice?
My bad on the late reply. Gallery and Soundtrack notices sounds like a good idea on season pages. Go for it. Same goes for the links in character gallery notices. That was only done initially for the former theme. It's not needed now. So feel free.
I can't seem to figure it out. At least not at the moment. However, I do know of a possible substitute that will result in the desired results. It's a minor template. Instead of using the brackets to create the link, you'd replace them with a template... If you're up for that then let me know
Hey! Man, April came up fast af. Haven't even seen the premiere yet. But I guess today is as good of a day as any since I'm free. As far as sprucing up the wiki, theme design wise, they've put out a lot of promotional material. So if there's any poster in particular that you liked, I could work that up for the background.
Also, I'd suggest two additions. First, the UTC wiki clock that can be put at the bottom of the right corner of your screen on the toolbar. It's perfect for users in different time zones. And the "auto refresh" button that can be put on the wiki activity feed so that you don't have to manual refresh the page to see if something new was done
I think a similar type of blue in this image would make a great overall colour scheme for the wiki. I'm not sure about the background yet, but this pic would look awesome on the right of the navigation.
What do you say about becoming an admin here? That way, you'll have full access to tweaking the wiki without having to come to me every time.
Thanks. I appreciate it. Regarding the color scheme, that poster has several shades of blue, varying from navy blue to much lighter shades. So there's the toolbar, header/navigation, links and main background color. I'm working out the color themes on my sandbox wiki before bringing it over here. I know you haven't decided on any background poster yet, so ignore that. Are there any color adjustments you want t make to what I've put together so far? A darker or lighter shade of blue somewhere? Anything like that
I had hoped for that as well. But unfortunately, cutting off the top of the posters will make the posters too short and it'll cause the background to have blank/black spaces for people with large screen resolutions.
Also, I wanted to ask you about all the tabbers. I noticed that they're being used in instances where they can be avoided and substitued with other methods, which is generally advised since tabbers aren't compatible with mobile. Should they be removed? Of course tabbers are needed in some instances, but they don't seem to be needed now.
I'm a big fan of Legion and I'm hoping to help with the wikia! I'm not entirely sure what you would like done or how you want it to be done. If you want assistance with anything please let me know as I'm more than willing to help.
I know that you're busy with other wikis, but I was wondering if you could create a new wordmark and favicon based on this logo. I've been playing around with it on Photoshop but I'm really bad at designing things.
Thank you for your time.
Edit: I made a request at Community Central to help with updating the wordmark and favicon, so you don't have to worry about it.
Yeah, I've been quite busy with a couple wikis, though I haven't forgotten about Legion. I hope to have no conflicting shows, so that I can be here when it airs. Seems you got the logo problem handled. Feel free to contact me if you needed assistance with anything else.
